Recessed Battery Switch Mount for Boats

A recessed mounting solution for bass boats, offshore fishing boats and other marine installations with a suitable flat panel and sufficient space behind it. Recessing the switch reduces its projection beyond the surrounding surface while keeping the control accessible.

Compatible Battery Switches

Compatible with Blue Sea Systems m-Series Mini Battery Switches: 6006 (ON/OFF), 6007 (1–2–BOTH–OFF battery selector), and 6011 (Dual Circuit Plus). Choose a switch with electrical ratings appropriate for your system; bracket fit does not establish electrical suitability.

Mounting Dimensions and Clearance

The existing mounting specification is approximately 5-1/8 inches outside diameter with an approximately 4-inch panel cutout. Confirm the actual mount and installation template before cutting. Allow room behind the panel for the complete switch body, studs, cable lugs and cable bends.

What's Included

One recessed ASA battery switch mount. Mounting fasteners and hardware are not included. Battery switch and wiring are sold separately. Full-scale installation template included; verify its scale before use.

Installation Overview

1. Choose a flat panel with enough front and rear clearance; inspect behind it before drilling or cutting.
2. Mark the panel opening and fastener locations using the actual mount or a verified full-scale template. Confirm the template scale and dry-fit before final drilling.
3. Cut the required opening using procedures appropriate for the panel material, then mount the switch and secure the assembly using suitable separately sourced fasteners.
4. Install, connect and support the switch and cables according to the switch manufacturer’s instructions.

Disconnect electrical power before installation and follow the equipment manufacturer’s wiring and mounting instructions.
