Free 30-day returns
We offer free returns within the United States on eligible unused products. Contact justin@rocketcityoutdoors.com within 30 days of delivery to request return authorization. We provide a prepaid return shipping label and charge no restocking fee.
Careful test-fitting is allowed if the item remains unused and unaltered. Installed, modified or customer-damaged items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Include the original packaging and all supplied parts and hardware. Custom-made products are excluded from change-of-mind returns unless defective.
How to return an item
Email justin@rocketcityoutdoors.com with your order number, item and reason for return. Wait for your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and shipping instructions before mailing the item. Pack it securely and use the prepaid label we provide for an eligible 30-day return. Keep your tracking information.

Refund amounts and timing
For an eligible change-of-mind return, we refund the product amount actually paid after discounts and the applicable tax. Original outbound shipping charges are not refunded. We do not deduct return shipping or a restocking fee from an eligible free return.
We issue approved refunds to the original payment method within 7 business days after inspection and email you when the refund is processed. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the credit.
Defective, damaged or incorrect orders
Contact us promptly with your order number and photos of the issue. For an item that arrives defective, damaged or incorrect, RCO covers applicable shipping costs to resolve the order problem. Please report shipping damage within 7 days of delivery when possible so we can document it with the carrier. This reporting request does not replace the lifetime warranty or any rights that cannot be excluded by law.
Limited lifetime warranty — all products
All products sold by Rocket City Outdoors carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. Claims require RCO review and approval. Damage caused by modification, improper installation, misuse, gross negligence, accidents, collisions or vehicle wrecks is not covered.
Email your order details, photos and a description of the problem before returning a warranty item. We review the claim and provide replacement and shipping instructions if approved. Customers pay shipping to return an item for a warranty claim. This is separate from our free eligible change-of-mind returns within 30 days and from resolving an item that arrives defective, damaged or incorrect.
Installation-photo reward
Our installation-photo reward is separate from product returns and warranty claims. After we verify the purchase and approve the content, we manually issue a 5% refund on the installed product amount paid after discounts, excluding shipping and tax, within 7 business days of approval. One reward per purchased item. A positive review or marketing signup is not required. See the Customer Installation Gallery for submission requirements. A later product-return refund is adjusted for any refund already issued on that item.
