Blue Sea Systems 6006 Battery Switch

This ON-OFF Battery Disconnect Switch is as simple as they come.  It is a Single Pole switch meant to disconnect one battery from one or more devices.

In an engine shutoff scenario this switch would usually be used in a Single Battery / Single Engine Combination, and would cut the supply to both the engine and the house loads.

It could also be used as a simple house disconnect (in the console perhaps), or as a disconnect switch for a single large load (think trolling motor or main windlass feed).  It can be used in combination with one or more other types of marine battery switches to manage multiple circuits or cross-connections for emergency paralleling.

Marine Grade Battery Switch

Our 6006 battery switch is made for the marine environment with tin-plated copper contacts and studs inside and out.  We love the way this switch has a physical snap as it locks into place, so there’s no question if it’s in position or not.

The 7/8″ Stud length also allows for the multiple wire lug connections common on boats.  For example, you may like desire to run both your engine feed cable, and the conductor feeding your Sea Clear Power marine graph wiring harness from the same output stud.
