The Blue Sea 285 Circuit Breaker Bracket is designed for the Blue Sea Systems 7184, a 285-Series 60A surface-mount circuit breaker. This circuit breaker mounting bracket is made by Rocket City Outdoors; the breaker is sold separately. Use on a suitable mounting surface in a bass boat, offshore fishing boat or other marine installation with clearance for the breaker and cable connections.

Installing the Blue Sea 285 Circuit Breaker Bracket

1. Dry-fit the bracket in the intended location and confirm clearance for the compartment lid, nearby equipment and connections.
2. Mark the fastener locations with a marker. Inspect behind the mounting surface, then drill appropriately sized pilot or mounting holes for the supplied fasteners.
3. Clean the mounting surface and secure the bracket using the included hardware.
4. Install the circuit breaker according to its manufacturer’s instructions. Keep connections or control cables supported and clear of moving parts.

Disconnect electrical power before installation and follow the equipment manufacturer’s wiring and mounting instructions.
